Plazes has relaunced its features sometime back....
But if you don't know what plazes is then ...
Plazes allows you to let others know where you are and what you are upto. It determines your location based on your ip, network ids, etc. so basically you have to open your laptop to register your location.
Sounds a bit like twitter....yes....

Don't like it because you have to enter your location most of the time.
I would better send a text to the person.
Though it might be useful if I want to inform more than one person. But, other people can also know from the one person I may text or call.
So it basically depends and yes plazes is not that useful for me.
