Who can join SP|hred?
Anyone can join SP|hred. All that's needed to join SP|hred is a valid email address. Once you join SP|hred, start posting about cool start ups or websites, rate what others have posted, find or post jobs and connect to people with similar interests.
How can I join SP|hred?
Simply
  • click on the 'Sign Up' link present on every page which will open a little box
  • fill in your name, email, password and click on the Sign Up button
  • check your email inbox (of the email address you provided while signing up) for an automated email sent from sphred.com
  • click on the account activation link
  • and you are done
If you don't find the email sent from sphred.com in your email inbox then also check your spam or junk folder. To ensure that you receive all future emails in your inbox, please add support@sphred.com in your contacts list.
Is SP|hred free?
Yes! Currently, every feature and functionality you see on SP|hred is FREE.
Where do I report Inappropriate Content?
If you see anything inappropriate on SP|hred then simply copy the url/address of the page and send a short email to support@sphred.com.
I can't sign in to my account.
Please verify that you are signing in with the correct password and email address. We also recommend clearing your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then try signing in again. If you are not sure about your password then click on 'Forgot Password?' link present in the Sign In Screen and provide the email address you used to Sign Up on SP|hred. We will then email you the information to change your password.
How do I report an error?

What is the "Add new" link for?
The "Add new" link is for adding a new post about a website, website feature or a tech story. Every post may or may not have sphreds attached to it which could either be a spread N8 or a shred N9 The users who attach a spread or shred to a post are called sphredders.
Can I access 'Add new' page without signing in?
No, you have to be signed in to add a new post. You can sign in using the "Sign In" link present next to the "Add new" link.
What is your business model?
NONE! Dumb isn't it? :(
